Sun, 1 February 2009 When Jesus began His earthly ministry, the Gospels tell us that He came preaching the Kingdom of God as defined in Luke 4:18. The Gospel, or the Good News, is intended to bring hope, encouragement and expectation to a people otherwise facing constant oppression from external forces. But Jesus spoke the language of the Kingdom of God, and without spiritual ears to hear, it is impossible to hear, and to be converted (to God’s way of thinking and living). Comments[0] |
